How GeoBlends Began
My name is Brenda Deming, and my journey with herbal products began in 2010, when an herbal balm finally eased a stubborn headache that nothing else had helped. That small moment opened a big door — I became genuinely curious about herbs, plant-based ingredients, and what it might look like to live with fewer unnecessary chemicals in everyday life.
But it was Janell Cole who turned that curiosity into a calling.
In 2014, I connected with Janell through her herbal wellness company, MOBU Herbals. What started as helping her build her website and affiliate programs quickly became something much more. Janell hosted "Herbal Hours" — regular conversations where she talked through herbs, their properties, and how to use them — and I absorbed everything she shared. I asked her every question I could think of. She was patient, generous with her knowledge, and deeply passionate about what natural products could do for people. Watching her formulas genuinely change lives — easing real discomfort, offering real support — made it clear to me that this work mattered.
In Memory of Janell Cole
Janell passed away unexpectedly in 2019, and I will always wish I had asked her even more. She is the reason I discovered herbal products at all. She is the reason I understand what thoughtful formulation looks like, why ingredient integrity matters, and what it means to serve people rather than just sell to them.
GeoBlends exists because of her. Not just as a response to losing her, but as a continuation of the values she lived and the work she poured herself into. Every product I make carries what she taught me.
